    1973-1978 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ-40. Direct replacement under seat tank for 9/1973 to 12/1978. Fuel pickup tube is installed on the top of the tank. Gasket is included.

    		padFJ40 Fuel Tank install for pre 1973

    This install requires using the fuel filler neck, hose and gas cap from a 74-78 FJ40 and then minor drilling to mount the filler neck to the body. You will also need a new fuel fiter, part number PATO23030-60030, and about 10 foot of 1/4" fuel line to replace the factory line from the tank to the filter and connect the vapor lines together that are not used. New hose clamps and overflow hose is recommend which is a 12mm vapor/vaccum hose. You will also need to either use some rubber hose or other material to put between the strap and tank to hold the tank secure. And a new 73-78 fuel sending unit will also be needed. Be sure to route the overflow hose under the tank strap or the seat will not go in properly.
