Shipping Policy & Disclaimer

Shipping Process & Procedures

4x4 Connection's shipping schedule is Monday through Friday, which are considered normal business days and exclude all U.S. holidays. All orders on in stock items placed before 12:00 p.m. eastern on business days are shipped the day they are ordered, this excludes drop shipments. After 12:00 p.m. the order is sent out the following business day.

  • Orders over $500 ship ups ground - unless manufacture ships truck freight applies.

  • All orders $500 or more will be sent Adult Signature Required.

    Shipping Costs

    All shipping for internet orders is calculated by UPS Software, we make every effort to make sure that the shipping is calculated correctly, but there may be some slight discrepancies. When there is a small shipping difference, 20% or less you will not be notified (ie: a few dollars). Anything over the 20% mark we will make every effort to contact you, but sometimes this is not possible due to the wonderful service of UPS.

    Truck Freight Shipping

    All Truck Freight Shipments (ARB, TJM, UTE LTD, etc.) are based on a quote. We will make every effort to make sure the quote is accurate and as reliable as possible, however slight discrepancies may exist and additional charges may apply after the shipment.

    Packing & Inspection

    Merchandise shipped is carefully packed and thoroughly inspected before leaving our facilities. Responsibility for its safe delivery is assumed by the carrier upon acceptance of the shipment. Claims for loss or damage sustained in transit must, therefore, be made upon the carrier as follows:

    Concealed loss or damage

    Concealed loss or damage means loss or damage which does not become apparent until the merchandise has been unpacked. The contents may be damaged in transit due to rough handling even though the carton may not show external damage. When the damage is discovered upon unpacking, make a written request for inspection by the carrier's agent within 15 days of delivery date. Then file a claim with the carrier since such damage is the carrier's responsibility. By following these instructions carefully, we guarantee our full support of your claims to protect you against loss from concealed damage.

    Visible loss or damage

    Any external evidence of loss or damage must be noted on the freight bill or receipt, and signed by the carrier's agent. Failure to adequately describe such external evidence of loss or damage may result in the carrier refusing to honor a damage claim. The form required for such a claim will be supplied by the carrier.

    Do not return damaged merchandise to 4x4 Connection. File claim as above.


    Warranty

    Every part, accessory and service is guaranteed. All parts and accessories sold by 4x4 Connection carry a manufacturers warranty. Do not disassemble or make your vehicle inoperative until you have assured that the enclosed 4x4 Connection product is correct, and has been supplied complete. 4x4 Connection will be happy to supply any missing component and or parts via normal UPS ground delivery. Under absolutely NO circumstances will 4x4 Connection be responsible for next day air or overnight delivery, (even if 4x4 Connection is deemed responsible). It should be understood that any time an individual modifies a vehicle from manufacturers original design, however slight the modification is, he/she assumes all responsibility for that modification. 4x4 Connection takes no responsibility for the installation and workmanship of any after market part, installation, or incorrectly ordered part.

    Driving a modified vehicle on or off the pavement increases safety risks and can enact greater forces on the vehicle. 4x4 Connection parts warranty is limited to pre-installation. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to inspect the part/parts before installation. Damage incurred by negligent driving and or abuse is not the responsibility of 4x4 Connection and will not be warranted.

    Electrical/Manuals/Used parts cannot be returned. 4x4 Connection assumes that the customer is knowledgeable and understands what he/she is purchasing. Manufacturers warrantees will be honored on electrical parts, however, once it leaves 4x4 Connection, you own it. Used parts are sold as "used", and "as is" with no implied warranty.


    Return Policy

    Permission to return an item must be obtained from 4x4 Connection. To obtain permission you must call 4x4 Connection during normal business hours and request a Return Authorization Number. No unauthorized returns will be honored. No returns will be honored unless they are accompanied by a copy of the original sales receipt. All sales are final after 30 days - please do not order parts you do not intend to use. A 20% restock fee is charged to all returns that were shipped correctly but the customer decided they did not need or want for whatever reason. Freight is non-refundable.
